PERSONAL PROFILE

For the past 9 years, I have successfully acted on behalf of local and international Buyer and Seller clients on the Monterey Peninsula. My specific areas of expertise include: residential, investment, relocation and 1031 tax deferred exchange transactions.

‘The art of real estate’ best summarizes my attitude and approach to the real estate business. A creative, focused and involved approach that recognizes the uniqueness of each transaction as well as the cooperative, communicative, analytical and problem-solving skills required to insure that my clients achieve their goals and a high level of satisfaction.

Prior to re-locating to the Monterey Peninsula from Southern California in 1997, my career included 30 years in Sales and Marketing management positions in the entertainment industry (Walt Disney Productions., Santa Anita Racetrack, Knott’s Berry Farm), the tourism industry (Grayline Tours Co.) and resort development (Sunrise Corp. - Palm Springs). These experiences have provided me with an exceptional background in conceptualizing, organizing and implementing programs and projects and delivering results.

For me, the glue that holds all of the above noted experiences together has always been my passion for working with people. I take a very personal interest in and make a strong commitment too my clients. It is through developing a strong and trusting relationship between Realtor and Client that successful transactions result.

In addition to commitment to my clients, I also believe in giving back to my profession and my community. In that regard, I have been elected twice by my peers to serve on Board of Directors for the Monterey County Board of Realtors. I also sit on the LGR and BORPAC Political Action Committees working with local cities and municipalities to preserve and enhance the quality of life so important to residents and visitors to this very special area.

The Monterey County Board of Supervisors recently appointed me to a 2-year term sitting on the Tax Appeals Board of Monterey County. In this role I am responsible, along with my associate board members, to review and rule on real property and business tax appeals issues.

Education - Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and Business Administration from the University of Southern California. Post graduate certification in International Business from the Thunderbird School of International Relations.

If I sound like I am running for office, in a way, I am. The office I aspire to is to be your life-long Realtor.
